Something from the backrooms of the
$NERDBUDE.
0x01 - PODCASTS
You may have already noticed. The
$NERDBUDE has a new menu.
Frank wanted to collect the podcasts that are no longer available from the
$NERDBUDE somewhere and be able to access them more quickly. That's why there is now an item in the menu:
[PODCASTS].
Here you will find the podcasts that I produce myself, but also the many guest appearances that I have had with nice people who have podcasts.
The "Guest appearances" section is therefore removed from the
[WHOAMI] category.
0x02 - NIXOS
There are now other items in the menu. For example
NIXOS. Since it is now becoming clear that NixOS is and will remain my first choice OS for a while, it will of course have its own section here. All of my systems/servers currently run on NixOS and accordingly the
posts that are related to the operating system will also be focused on NixOS. For example the server move, web server, mail server, matrix server (I'll come to that in a moment) and other future projects.
All of this will now be quickly accessible
HERE.
0x03 - MATRIX
As nice as it was on
CYBERWA.RE - it was unfortunately over just as quickly. The update of the server that the lovely
REVENGEDAY
built there was unfortunately so broken that the effort to get the Matrix server running again was simply too extensive and so
CYBERWA.RE
is history - RIP.
The disadvantage of this is that my account there is also gone. Of course, the
[NIXOS] category also needs new fodder. That's why I sat down and dug through Matrix/Synapse myself. The NixOS Matrix Synapse home server has been dropped

TO THE POST) on
KYB3R.SPACE (there is also some more information below).
That means you can reach me again via Matrix:

This of course invites you to play around. I'm always looking for cool (terminal) tools, fun projects and nice people. That's why there is now
$NERDBUDE's own Matrix room. It is important for you that the
Nerdbude principles apply here too.

0x04 - VIM
The third new feature in the menu is
[VIM]. I won't be getting away from VIM any time soon and will dig myself deeper into it. I'm working on my own
Vim plugin and there will be plenty of Vim content here in the future too. That's what the menu entry is for.
0x05 - HACKER KULTUR
I also don't want to leave out the new
HACKER KULTUR episode with
CHRISTIAN.
In it we talk about the ultimate hacker laptops: THINKPADS and who makes more sense than ThinkPad connoisseur Christian with his expertise.

0x06 - NETWORK
Here's some background information. The
$NERDBUDE that you see here is, as you know, only the documentary branch.
The
[CORE]_NERDBUDE is the entire network behind it (servers, labs, devices, etc.).
I've tidied it up a bit and restructured it. Nobody will notice, but it performs much better. That's why there is now
KYB3R.SPACE.
All services that are not a website run under this domain. For example, the Matrix server mentioned above. There are already plans for the next projects.
KYB3R.SPACE is therefore an official part of the Nerdbude and you can of course find out what I'm doing with it here.
